Student Leadership Intern Program (S.L.I.P)
This program allows rising high school seniors to earn certifications, gain hands-on experience, and learn more about the many agencies in the Department of Public Safety. While in this paid internship participants also have the opportunity to earn one credit towards high school graduation in partnership with the Charleston County School District. Charleston County Department of Public Safety Student Leadership and Intern Program-Empowering student youth in Charleston County in leadership, awareness, and inclusion in public safety.
